ABOUT US

Liquid Sky parties are organised by the group's founder, Axailes Solar and a team of talented artists with a common vision. Liquid Sky showcases a collective of Goa's popular and international talented DJs and its repertoire covers styles from techno, minimal, tech house, electro to the freshest of actual electronic tendencies.

Liquid Sky was created by Axailes Solar as a platform to bring together diverse music styles, artistic expressions and people from different cultures and backgrounds onto one common scene: the dance-floor.

Originally this ideal manifested in an unique beach shack in Arambol Beach called Liquid Sky. The bar operated through the night and became a celebrated venue in Goa until it closed in 2006.

It's necessary to make clear today, that Liquid Sky is not a venue.

Liquid Sky as a brand has been operating as an ensemble rather than a destination, hosting legendary parties across venues in Goa: 9Bar, Hill Top, West End, UV Bar, Marbela Beach, Sea Horse Anjuna, Chronicle, Sky Bar and more. The Liquid Sky Collective comprises djs of varied repertoires: minimal, techno, progressive techno, tech-house, house, as well artists, designers and performers.

Liquid Sky parties are extravaganza events. Its operation includes booking talented artists, introducing new talents to the Goan scene, sound equipment rent, sound installation, acoustic management, complete stage design, vjs, fire dancers, photographers, light-show, boat trip parties and more.

They run outstanding full promotion campaigns and also can deal with bar management and catering.

ABOUT AXAILES SOLAR

Axailes was one of the first DJs to introduce a varied range of electronic music to Goa, a place that was previously dominated by trance. She is one of the most recognised local DJs and plays techno, tech house, minimal and progressive. She is also credited with organising some of Goa's most legendary parties.

As the founder of the Liquid Sky Collective, she has been effective in introducing several new DJs to the Goan scene including: Ramiro Lopez, Christ Burstein, Djo, Yo-El, Andy Shakty, E.N.O.T, Tim Svodnick, Zig, Pink Orange, Dava Di Toma and Ma Faiza just to name a few.

It was back in 1989 when Axailes was introduced to the electronic music scene in Brussels and went on to become a resident DJ at celebrated clubs in the city, including the likes of Bazaar, Delicious Nite, Feel Up, Walvis, Warm Up, Alka Seltzer, Pablo DiscoBar and Cafe Central.

As a producer and musician, she has released a pop funk album entitled ‘Little Greys's Nite’ in 1992 with her band 'The Powaga Sisters', an ensemble of six women led by singer Isabelle Antena. In 2006, she once again collaborated with Isabelle Antena for an electro bossa album titled 'T'oujours du Soleil', under the name 'Antena'. They had 2 tours across the US and did the opening act for Thievery Corporation.

At the moment she's working on the promotion of her newest album 'Boarding Pass' under the new duo name ANTENA SOLAR, again in partnership with talented singer and producer Isabelle Antena.

Thereafter, a variety of musical projects followed. To name some: I.o.T with Le Chien Jaune and Triphaz with Jim Van Eyck.

She currently splits her time between Goa and Europe where she continues to DJ and host full on parties.
